Could gluten free fast food soon be on offer?

It’s a gloriously sunny Friday & here is the first Gluten Free and Gorgeous news scoop!

I promised you the latest in news and views from the Gluten Free world so I’ve been busy doing some detective work and can reveal that a major fast food outlet is considering a gluten free alternative to their regular offering.  Now, fast food may not be your thing but this chain has around 12,400 outlets in 73 countries so it proves the demand for gluten free food is gaining momentum.  Let’s applaud the fact that big companies are listening and  the options for gluten free eating out, whatever your budget are improving. Watch this space for news of who it is!

On a similar note, I was pleased to see Costa Coffee have extended their range of gluten free cakes.  This morning I spotted some mini cherry bakewells nestled next to some gluten free brownies.  Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to try them but will report back with my findings on my next visit.
